The III Shigeru Kawai International Piano Contest in Tokyo has just finished, and we have the immense joy and pride of announcing that, who was only a few months ago winner of the I Shigeru Kawai Contest in Madrid, Harrison Herman, has just won the second prize.
It has been a competition with difficult access, with a very high level in the preselection round in which 234 pianists from 18 countries participated. 57 contestants were chosen, some of whom had participated and won awards in several of the most prestigious competitions on the world piano scene such as: Gina Bachauer, Van Cliburn, Hamamatsu, Rubinstein, etc ...
